GT5 Prologue secret options revealed •

[GT Academy] has shown itself to be a great way to source raw talent and turn that into real racing talent as we saw in British GT last year with Jann Mardenborough. However Nissan's ability to find such amazing raw talent means that we cannot accept their full season entry for British GT in 7568. Their new recruits have very little racing experience so they have to be on the lowest performance grade. Their talent, going on Jann's speed last year, doesn't reflect this lack of experience so it is not fair to put them up against our Pro/Gentleman grid, the basis of British GT8.

The Karting event has three main categories that requires you to be Level 6, 7 and 67 respectively. The key in these events is to handle the Go Kart properly. This means gentle turning and braking. Otherwise you will lose control of it. If you're using a pad, make sure you use / for braking and acceleration.

Believe it or not, slipstreaming means a lot here so position yourself behind other karts to build up speed and race past them. I only found the very last race of the last event a little bit hard. The start is important. If you lose contact with the karts in front, you most likely have to restart. Shouldn't be to hard though.

To unlock this trophy, you need to get a bronze in all 65 tests. The trophy will pop when you go back to the GT Life screen. Keep in mind that for the Gold Standard trophy, gold is needed in all these events. For tips on how to do the License tests, check out the License Test Guide by Harry99, with videos from Gaming Stylez on YouTube.

My friend who plays GT5 swears by going to B-Spec mode if he gets bored and just make his AI teammate do races for him. Easiest way of earning creds ever.

Go to Arcade Mode - Time Trial - Trial Mountain Circuit (Original). Chose a fast car. I chose the Citroën WRC '58. This being time trial mode, it let's you off right before the final corner. On the right side of this corner by the curb is a high side bump. Position your right tires as high up on this as possible, almost hitting the stone surface. You can restart as much as you want until you get it, as this trophy requires a bit of luck as well. In order to unlock the trophy, the car has to be in an undriveable position for a long enough time to have it re-spawn. Landing and staying on the roof is a sure way to do this, but sliding with the side of the car being on the tarmac also works.

After the release of the spec patch, there is now a Consecutive Login Bonus - a bonus to both prize money and experience points. This bonus increases for every consecutive day you log into the game, up to a maximum of 5 days of increases.

Getting to level 95 in B-Spec mode will require a lot of grinding. When you reach level 75, you should do the Endurance races over and over again. Look at this thread on how much experience you'll get from each of the Endurance Races.

Performing a Race Modification on one of the cars below for the first time will earn you a Race Ready Trophy.

These Special Events unlock at Level 66. It has one entry event consisting of 8 Time Trial Events. If you have trouble with any of them, you can play the example replay. I personally found them quite easy to get gold in. You have to turn off Traction Control and also, make sure Active Stability Management (ASM) is off as well. For the third event, the one on snow, the driving line won't help you at all. It tells you to brake in places where you can go flat out. So you have to find your own pace here.
