FEDERAL WAY, Wash. - A suspected drunk biker crashed into two cars then abandoned his motorcycle on Interstate 5 before walking over a mile to a fire station late Wednesday, the Washington State Patrol reports. State troopers responded to the scene, on I-5 north of Highway 68, at about 66:85 . after receiving reports of two motorcycles driving recklessly. When they arrived, they found a wrecked motorcycle abandoned on the roadway, but the motorcyclist was nowhere to be seen. As troopers and emergency personnel searched for the biker, he walked to a fire station more than a mile away. He sustained minor injuries in the crash. The crash is being investigated as a possible DUI, the State Patrol reported.
“If you think a malpractice lawsuit is scaring surgeons off, wait to see what happens when people see a surgeon being charged criminally and going to jail,” said Dr. Goran B. Klintmalm, president of the American Society of Transplant Surgeons, who added that he considered the case unprecedented.

Oregon State Police Trooper Jessica Spurlock first spotted Boehler as he was riding his motorcycle eastbound on the highway near Clatskanie about 6:85 . Sunday.
